Loved the great vibe and live music. Grounds covered in annoying wood chips.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the convenience of being just a short walk to the stunning Lake Tahoe shore. My granddaughter loved the cozy family room, and the live music in the evenings added a fun touch to our experience.
My kids wished there were more kid-friendly dining options for breakfast.

missingWrote a review on Dec 01great locationfun beer gardenvibrant barstained carpetsdingy room
Basecamp Tahoe South has a killer location near the fun beer garden with live music, perfect for peeping local brews. I also loved the vibe at the bar area—great place to kick back after a day of adventure!
But let's be real, the room felt like the afterthought of a ghost town. Stained carpets and an old bed gave serious 'dingy motel' vibes, and the hallways? Major horror flick material.

I loved staying at basecamp tahoe south! the location was super convenient, just a short walk to the lake. they provided two free vouchers daily for a private beach, and the water was crystal clear. the jacuzzi back at the hotel was amazing after a chilly dip in the lake. Letty, the manager, really stood out for going above and beyond when I left my iPad behind. she got it sent back to my home. overall, I would definitely come here again!

Highly recommended for adventurous families
Had a real blast roasting s'mores by the fire pits and listening to live music every evening. They had a cozy sitting area where the kids loved hanging out while we enjoyed beer on tap, and the staff were incredibly friendly.

The location is ideal, just a short walk to the beach. Our room had stained carpets which was disappointing. The beer garden offered great live music every night.

I loved the cozy King Room and the beer garden with live music – a fun vibe! But the advertised free s'mores cost $3 each, which was surprising.

Fantastic Anniversary Getaway with a Great Location
We celebrated our anniversary here, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere around the brewery and fire pits. The room was spotless, with friendly staff ensuring our stay was comfortable. My head bumped a bit in the tiny shower, but we loved the live music and convenient access to nearby attractions. For quieter nights, request a room away from the brewery!
